What specific information is provided for students with disabilities during the orientation days?
The Unit for Disabled Students informs our students during registration about facilities in the university and asks these students to fill a questionnaire by the help of counselor (AREM) which aims to find out personal information, handicaps, demographic structures and expectations from the university and follow the developments of the students by this way.
The infrastructure of the university has been redesigned to make the transportation convenient for the handicapped students. The university provides transportation outside the university for the students specified by investigating their economical situations, disability status. Although there is not any budget for this occasion the university acts without hesitation to provide these students necessary facilities.
