When requesting facilities due to a disability, this request must be supported by a certificate completed by a doctor or other expert. More information can be found under "necessary documents to provide".
After approval, the information is passed on to the relevant study program supervisor to draw up a contract.
For most disabilities we use the documents of the VLOR, but you can also submit your own documents if they meet certain criteria. The criteria per disability can be found in the VLOR-manual.
In discussion with your contacts from the international office and disability office, the thresholds you may experience are discussed. Based on your needs a number of individualised facilities are selected. We coordinate between your needs and the practical and organizational feasibility of meeting them within your program.
Adjustments can be made available for students under certain conditions, based on a needs assessment upon arrival at the University.
We select facilities on a case-by-case basis, with alignment between your support needs and the feasibility within your program.
If necessary, an individual counselor can be requested.
