Procedures for students

Procedure to be recognised as a student with a disability
What is the procedure to be recognised as a student with a disability?
The Secretary's Office for Students and the International Office at HfG Offenbach require incoming students with disabilities to provide official documents certifying their disabilities during the admission process so that individual assistance can be discussed and organized with the incoming student well in advance.
Necessary documents to provide
Scancopies of the official documents certifying your disability in your home country.
What can students expect?
HfG Offenbach has not yet developed a standard procedure for welcoming students or staff with disabilities.
For the time being, you should get in touch with our Secretary's Office for Students and our International Office as a first point of entry and let us know about your plans of studying at HfG as long in advance as possible. Once we have understood with you what you are interested in and what your specific needs are, we can tell you which needs we can cater for and for which ones we, unfortunately, can't. We are a small university and our resources are limited. However, we are used to finding individual solutions and would be happy to assist you in whichever way we can.
