How accessible is the public transportation to the campus?
From Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (main railway station), you can take bus lines F (Oberwaldhaus), H (Kranichstein Kesselhutweg), K (Alfred-Messel-Weg) or tram lines 2 (TU Lichtwiese/Campus) and 3 (Lichtenbergschule). Get off at Schloss. The TU entrance building karo 5 is just a few minutes’ walk from the stop at Karolinenplatz.
How accessible are the parking facilities of the campus?
TU Darmstadt strives for accessibility. If you are dependent on your own vehicle (holder of a severely disabled person's pass with the G, aG and H mark), we at Department IV C would like to support you:
On the TU Darmstadt campus, you do not pay a parking fee in the TU's own parking lots (in the gated area). All TU Darmstadt parking lots have specially marked parking spaces for people with disabilities.
The use of public parking spaces with parking ticket machines is subject to a charge.
