Procedures for students
Procedure to be recognised as a student with fewer opportunities
Procedure to be recognised as a student with a disability
What is the procedure to be recognised as a student with a disability?
Do you have a disability and want to study at NHL Stenden? Then contact a student counsellor at +31 (0)58 244 11 55 or [email protected]. Even if you are still doubting your choice of study and/or you want to know what is and is not possible within a programme, we advise you to make an appointment with a student counsellor in advance.
If you become disabled during your study or you require other facilities, then we will try to find a solution together. There are various solutions possible to enable you to study. Perhaps you need more time to complete tests, or less strict attendance requirements. We will try to come to a tailored arrangement when discussing your needs.
Necessary documents to provide
Medical Statement from a GP, medical specialist or psychologist.
What can students expect?
Nhlstenden signed the UN Convention Declaration of Intent for more inclusive Higher Education.
