What can students expect?
HKU offers facilities for students with functional disabilities. Our student counsellors will guide students through the process of applying for facilities, after which a meeting is set up with the student, their tutor at HKU and one of the student counsellors. During this first meeting, options, arrangements or facilities that best meet the needs of the student will be explored. After this meeting, any facilities that all parties have agreed upon, will be arranged and set in motion. The tutor at HKU will then stay in close touch with the student during the entire course of their studies, and will provide support and information to help the student perform in an optimal way.
