ArtEZ offers small scale Art Education which enables us to offer adjustments to students based on their individual needs. Study counsellors work together with the department and the student to find the best possible solution.
Students may use elevators and other access facilities on campus, however, only ArtEZ Enschede is fully wheelchair accessible.
Services and Support
Financial support
What extra financial support for incoming students with disabilities is offered?
There are no special needs funds available within the University. However, ArtEZ can assist incoming students in finding possible external financial resources.
Medical and Psychological support
Where to seek medical services?
ArtEZ is a small scale University of the Arts, therefore we don't have extensive inhouse medical services. However, when needed we assist incoming students in finding a medical practitioner. Some study programmes offer specific services such as physiotherapy at our Dance department and Music and Health (how to use your voice in a healthy way, ergonomics for instrumentalists, how to protect your ears) at our Conservatory.
ArtEZ also offers online mental health training modules for students (Gezonde Boel).
