If a student has epilepsy or is prone to collapse or falls, we can organise a 'fall/seizure detector' which is linked to a telephone alert system. We would require the student to discuss this with their home doctor and have this recommendation in writing from them, before we can organise this. We would need at least 9 weeks to make these provisions.
If a student is photosensitive, then they will need to inform us, so they are not placed in a room with a flashing strobe fire alarm.
Students who are hearing impaired/Deaf can be placed in a room with a flashing alarm/vibrating pillow alarm, but we will need at least 9 weeks notice to make this arrangement if a room is available.
If a student requires a fridge in their halls of residence for the storage of medication, then we will require supporting medical evidence and also plenty of time to make arrangements, If a student has an allergy or a medical condition which requires ensuite bathroom arrangements, we will need to know well in advance.

Address
We a number of accessible halls of residence rooms, which have 'wet rooms', accessible bathrooms and lowered desk/furniture for users. As numbers are limited we would need to be contacted by applicants well in advance to look at availability of rooms. If
