Guidance to organisations and financial support to mobility participants with fewer opportunities and special needs.
Special needs and inclusion grants are intended to enable international exchange and traineeships in circumstances when a special need causes additional costs that are not covered by other sources. Special need can be for example an injury, impairment, physical or psychological illness, learning difficulty or individual situation.
The grant can be awarded e.g. to accessible accommodation, assisted mobility or study-related special arrangements, e.g. learning materials, costs related to assistants or preparatory visits. The application process is completely confidential. The application is easy to fill, and the expenses caused by special need can be estimated roughly. As all special needs are unique, all of the applications will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Read more about inclusion and special needs grants on our website.
