What is the procedure to be recognised as a student with a disability?
1. Contact Centre for students with special needs at TBU in Zlín
2. After you will solve all formalities with the above, Welcome centre of TBU in Zlín (International office) can help you with arrival and visa information (help you with booking visa appointment, advisory about required visa documents, help with arrival (Welcome in Zlín, help with accommodation at university dormitories and help with basic orientation within the university, city, public transport, hospitals,..etc.)

Where to seek medical services?
Presently we have under contract for our international students new GP (General practitioner), gynecologist and newly also psychiatrist (in case of need for clinical help.
To that our Counselling centre offers services of two psychologists for wide range of problems.

Preparatory visits
What is the procedure to request a preparatory visit?
Contact our Centre for students with special needs which can further guide you and plan for you the preparatory visit based on the individual needs of every student.
What can be expected from the preparatory visit?
Well you can get first hand experience and to try the life within our university and Zlín in general - including university accommodation, eating in university restaurants, visit of particular faculty, library and general feel of the city and university environment and the local reality. ;-)

What specific information is provided for students with disabilities during the orientation days?
Welcome centre of TBU in Zlín (International office) can help you with arrival and (if necessary) also with visa information (We can help you with booking visa appointment, advice you about required visa documents, and after successfull obtaining of visa and arrival we are available for help with arrival. (Welcome in Zlín, help with accommodation at university dormitories and help with basic orientation within the university, city, public transport, , visit of hospitals etc...).
At the beginning of every semester we organize a Welcome week for all new students in cooperation with our volunteer students organization ESN UTB Zlin. (former Buddy System Zlín). We will gladly include all students with special needs to these activities.
